What's the point of a judiciary as a 'check and balance' if all it's going to do is defer to the state's authority? It's irrelevant if it's Liberal or Conservative. At the moment it's heavily skewed left but the point is we have a court system that is NOT upholding the rights of free citizens. Alas, Canada is made up of enslaved subjects and not free citizens and the courts only exacerbate or at least overtly confirm it. Same with the press. They all sound like extended mouth pieces feigning independence. No one wants to do the actual hard work of holding government to account.

Many books are being written on the subject as well. Of course it will be ignored during the zeitgeist but crucial for posterity nevertheless.

Same with inquiries like NCI. Somewhere it will have all been recorded and future researchers and historians will appreciate it.

I've no doubt that all those - from officials to health experts to physicians to politicians to scientists to journalists to activists to bureaucrats and everyone in between - will not come out looking good in the future. They already don't despite what they say publicly or think personally.

David Zweig is writing a book about. It should be epic.

Price increases as a result of supply chain disruption including labour shortages in industries where people were constantly exposed are still affecting us. Healing those wounds should not include looking backward or waiting in future pan
